Acclaimed actor Zia Mohyeddin, when asked about actors coming out of NAPA (National Academy of Performing Arts), said, ‘Nazr is one of the most promising of students. He might play Hamlet.’ Nazr, since the time of his graduation from NAPA, is one of the most sought after of theatre actors. His command over diction and his eagerness to sharpen his craft of acting has earned him a lot of praise. He has been part of productions like EQUUS, playing Dr Dysart; COURT-MARTIAL, as Captain Beekash Rai; RAAGNI, as Dr Saulat, KIS KI TOPI KIS KAY SAR; and very recently QUSOORWAR, an adaptation of Twelve Angry Men. He currently teaches voice and diction at NAPA.
