Zarmeen Hassan

Zarmeen Hassan is a powerhouse of strength in every aspect of life, including Salamfest. A

first-generation migrant of Pakistani heritage, her objective is “to achieve beyond the

ordinary at every step”. An accomplished professional, marketer and agricultural

scientist by education and trade, Zarmeen is passionate about sharing her religious and

cultural heritage, primarily through food. Her kitchen and table are always welcoming places

to share meals and stories. She believes in the power of stories and believes that each

of us brings a unique story that deserves to be shared.

For Zarmeen, Salamfest is a place of celebrating religious and cultural individuality and of

showcasing to the world the richness of the Muslim cultures, providing the strength for the

current and next generation of Muslims to be proud of their heritage.
