Jummah Prayer

Muslims pray five times a day but it is the Friday prayers that hold a certain significance. Friday is called Yaom al-Jummahin Arabic, meaning the Day of Congregation) يوم الجمعة (where Muslims gather for collective prayer during the midday prayer. It is an opportunity to reflect and contemplate the world around us and how we connect with one another. We welcome all Victorians to attend, observe and participate.

To mark the special occasion, members of the Fareed Ayaz Qawaali group will deliver the call to prayer.
