Muslim, she is originally from Saudi Arabia and living in Australia for almost 10 years. She is a member of a Muslim Progressive Group aiming for a future where Islam is understood as a source of social dignity, justice, compassion and love for all humanity and the world. She joined SalamFest as a volunteer because she is a strong believer that art is the mirror of a culture and its world view and by showing the beauty of the Islamic art it will reveal the way Muslims view the spiritual realm and the universe. For Muslims, beauty has always been and will always be a quality of the divine. There is a hadith of the Prophet Muhammad that says: “Allah is beautiful and he loves beauty.”
